Countdown

Time is gone and I have to go back to Italy. Next Tuesday I'll leave LA.
Of course, I don't want to, I want to enjoy my life here. I had such a good time here, meet people from different cultures and I feel I grow up. I want to thank all of my friends, I love you guys. Please visit Italy or Europe and call me. We can meet. I'll really appreciate that.
I improved my English skills. Before coming here, I couldn't speak as I can noe. I remeber before coming here, I met an American guy in Italy and I remained silent because I couldn't know how to speak.
I'm scared to go home, I'm scared to see that anything has changed there, while I feel I am changed.
Life is tough.

Carneval

In these days Italy celebrates Carneval, which looks like the American Halloween.
In Italy we also have Halloween, which is really different from the real American Halloween. Carneval is celebrated by adults and children in a different time of the day; children in the afternoon with floats, adults in the evening at clubs or private party. Once again, in Italy there's another type of Carneval, Venice Carneval, which is the most famous all over the world. A lot of people go there and dress up with polish costumes, like queen or famous historical character.
In Italy Halloween day is celebrated only by adults, who dress as monsters, witches or vampires. There's no nurse, no policeofficer or other amusing costumes.
Last Halloween I went to Dowtown LA and there was amazing. I remember that evening as one of the most incredible experience in my life. There were eccentric costumes, like man dressed as a peacock, and simple funny costumes, like one man dressed as Tom of Myspace.
After that I was thinking about the culture differences. Sometimes, it's very difficult to export specific holidays.

The beginning

Let's try to write. It will be hard, of course.
I've been living in the US for almost four months; an extraordinary experience that it's changing me. Writing on this blog will be difficult because English isn't my mother-language. Anyway I'll try to do it.
